August 2019 TBR

Hello, friends! I hope you’re all having a good day!

I have no earthly idea where this year has gone. It’s like this: January lasted approximately 3 days, March was roughly 6 hours, and May felt like it lasted 7 years. Who knows how long August will last? Probably not long, but anyways, I have a very long TBR for August. But what’s new?

The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang

Look okay, The Poppy War destroyed me as a human person so I’m very much excited to be destroyed by this one too. Also that cover! I’ve been murdered in a dark alleyway and brought back to life. In the best way possible.

Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

I ordered this book at the same time as I bought The Dragon Republic because I knew I’d need something happy to read. Also, everyone loves this and I always want to support young, debut authors!

The Diviners by Libba Bray

I’m participating in the #DivinersReadalong hosted by Meltotheany and some other booktubers! More info about it can be found here! But this book is one I am so very excited for! I don’t read much “scary stuff,” however this looks like my ideal book, I predict it being an amazing read!

Wicked Fox by Kat Cho

Wow this book looks good! A fantasy romance? Inspired by Korean mythology? Set in modern day Seoul? My body is ready.

Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

So, I don’t actually want to read this. But it’s required reading for school. At least it’s short.

Looking For Alaska by John Green

This is also required reading but I really enjoyed The Fault In Our Stars and Turtles all the Way Down so I’m curious to see how this turns out!

So there you go, that’s my TBR for August 2019! I realize I ghosted there for a while but I’m gonna be posting more, and I’ve got a lot of content I would like to produce for this so, bear with me!

What’s on your August TBR?
